Makayla Grady is an author, seamstress, adventurer, and overall creative who fell in love with writing at a very young age. Born and raised in Maryland, Makayla takes the inspiration for her writing from her environment and the wonderful people who surround her. As a child she impressed both peers and teachers alike with the poetry and short stories that continually poured out of her.
Eventually, what began as a personal challenge between her and her mother led to the writing and completion of her very first poetry book: Glass and diamonds. Now, nearly 3 years later she is expanding her horizons with her upcoming release “Hysteria” to share her struggles with hope, isolation and mental health.
